Good question! Sing Text is not an app, it’s a vocal training service delivered to you via text messages.

Don’t get us wrong, we love apps, in fact, we ADORE apps with that being said, we decided to NOT make an app, and here’s why:

• It’s not another app to fill up your phone’s storage space.

• Sing Text is a vocal coaching experience—a conversation.

• It’s harder to ignore a text than it is a push notification.

• It’s a new method of learning, which is honestly really fun.

Sing Text PRO & ELITE exercises take no more than 25 minutes. Most trainings on average take about 15 minutes. We create each exercise to be as effective and time-sensitive as possible.

Each day, you will be sent your vocal training via text message. Click the link in the text each day, log in to the member dashboard (PRO tip: Allow your device to remember your login to make login instant, or just don’t log out), hit play then sing along. You can access your vocal training anywhere you have cell service or wifi.

After you have completed enrollment, you will receive your first exercise within 5 minutes. If you have still not received anything within 24hrs of signing up, please contact us by texting HELP to 888-299-4674 so we can ensure you get your exercises.

We know that the insight, feedback, and encouragement of a voice instructor is an important part of growth and development as a vocalist so we wanted to make personalized feedback from an instructor something that’s accessible. We offer what is called a Vocal Check-In!

When you schedule a Vocal Check-In, we’ll send you a text letting you know it’s time for you to check in. You’ll click the link and get started by answering questions about how your vocal practice has been going, and things you have been experiencing and you’ll also be able to ask your vocal coach any questions you may have.

After answering the questions, you’ll then be prompted to upload a video of yourself singing through a song of your choice. Once you submit your video, your vocal coach will be in touch with you within 48hrs. They will send you an audio message with in-depth feedback for your voice, demonstrations of things to change in your song and exercises to help you achieve excellent technique, recommendations for your weekly practice to help you in your singing goals, along with answering any questions you may have for them.

This is a great option for those who want personalized feedback from a coach, just as you receive in a private lesson. 

Vocal Check-Ins are included weekly with our ELITE membership. You can also choose Vocal Check-ins a la carte. You do not need to be a current Sing Text member to do a Vocal Check-In. The individual cost of a Vocal Check-In is $25.

Do you want a weekly Vocal Check-In with a vocal instructor to ensure you are doing things properly? We’ve got good news!

Sing Text ELITE is our most in-depth membership. Every week you’ll have a guided Vocal Check-In with a vocal coach. In a voice lesson you work through exercises with your instructor, they correct your technique, you master songs, they answer any questions you may have, and discover your voice and sound.

You get to do just that in a weekly check-in with Sing Text ELITE. After submitting your guided weekly Vocal Check-In each week, your vocal coach will get in touch with you within 48 hours with their feedback and notes for your practice time and answers to any questions you may have for them.

ELITE is wonderful for the beginner who wants the voice lesson experience.

You can choose a 4-day training week or a 7-day training week in your Member Dashboard after starting your membership. We recommend choosing a training schedule that feels most comfortable for you and your schedule. Consistency is the key to growth and improvement in your singing. Don’t worry, you can change your training schedule at any time in the future!

Sing through your exercises on the day they are sent to you, if you are struggling to fit them in on a certain day, that’s okay, that’s exactly why we created text-in keywords. Text us the word REST to pause your training being sent to you for a day. We’re here to help you fit vocal training into your life with ease!

With consistent practice, you should begin hearing improvements within the first two weeks of using Sing Text!

Your billing can be updated at any time by clicking the Member Dashboard button after logging in. Under Billing click “Your Account” then click “Update payment method”.

But if you must you can cancel your membership at any time by clicking the Member Dashboard button after logging in, then click “Your Account” and under Billing click “View or cancel plans”.

You will continue receiving your vocal training until the end of your billing cycle.

The big difference between PRO & ELITE is that Sing Text ELITE comes with a weekly guided, Vocal Check-In with a professional vocal coach.

Working with a vocal coach can help diagnose what is going on in your voice and encourage you in your singing journey. While you can hear great progress through the Sing Text training without directly working with a vocal coach, we recommend all singers (of all experience levels) work with a vocal coach at some point. If the commitment to a weekly Vocal Check-In doesn’t feel quite right for you, be sure to schedule an a la carte Vocal Check-In from time to time. This will help you overcome some of the roadblocks you may encounter in your training. A coach’s perspective on the techniques you are using and vocal issues you may be experiencing is an extremely valuable part of getting vocal breakthroughs.

Sing Text PRO & ELITE are great tools for you to use even if you are working with a voice teacher regularly. They will enhance your lesson experience and expedite your results.

While ELITE may not be necessary if you are already working with a vocal coach, should you choose an ELITE membership your Sing Text vocal coach would be happy to come alongside you and support you in all that you are already doing with your current voice teacher.
