It’s the support and encouragement you need to keep moving forward on your journey to becoming the best singer you can be!

So, how does a Vocal Check-In work?

  • Answer questions for your vocal coach about how your voice has been doing, how your practice has been going and you’ll be able to ask your coach any questions you may have.

  • Record a video of yourself singing through a song you are currently working on or that you want to work on with your vocal coach.

  • Once everything is submitted, wiithin 48 hours your vocal coach will get back to you with their notes for your. Your coach will send an audio message along with practice notes to your email (don’t worry, we’ll text you when they’ve reviewed your Check-In).

    They’ll share things they want you to work on in your singing practice, correct your technique, improve your stylistic/artistic expression in the song, exercise recommendations, they’ll demonstrate things if needed and answer your questions.

  • Every Vocal Check-In is $25.

  • Absolutely! A big part of a vocal coach's job is hearing you & seeing what you are doing as you sing.

    The only thing we are unable to do is to correct you in real-time, however, our coaches thoroughly explain and demonstrate the corrections they want you to make in the feedback they send you.

    Our vocal coaches will give you feedback and instruction just as you’d receive in a lesson with an instructor.

  • Your Vocal Check-In is carefully read and listened to by our vocal coaches. Sometimes you may receive your feedback on the same day, it just depends on how many Vocal Check-Ins have come in that day.

    Once they have diagnosed what is going on in your voice and song, then they will take the time to record an audio message for you that thoroughly explains everything they want you to work on. In this audio message, they will talk about what went well in the song, what you can give more attention to in your practice, correct your technique if necessary, demonstrate things as needed, answer your questions, and share exercises and recommendations for your practice time.

    Our coaches are detailed and make sure to give you actionable steps that you can put to practice in your private vocal practice. Most vocal coaches respond with an audio message that’s approximately 5-10 minutes long.

  • It will vary from person to person but a Vocal Check-In shouldn’t take you any more than 15 minutes. The questions take about 5 minutes to complete and recording yourself singing a song shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes as well. Quick & simple!

  • While we know there are great uses for Artificial Intelligence, our Vocal Check-Ins are done by REAL, professional vocal coaches.

    Singing is a vulnerable experience and your vocal journey deserves to be guided by the care and compassion of an authentic human connection with a vocal coach. Vocal training should be flexible with your life and your needs and a vocal coach that is attentive to what is going on with your voice and aware of the outside stressors that life can often bring us is necessary for the best vocal coaching experience possible!

  • You do not need to be an active Sing Text member to do a Vocal Check-In! These can be scheduled and purchased without needing a membership.
